Chilcotts new collection of blankets have been designed/ created by us using 100% British Bluefaced Leicester wool, the most luxurious fleece found in the British Isles. Each blanket carries the accredited Gold BWMB crook which is only awarded to companies who can prove the provenance from fleece to finish that it is 100% British.
The new blankets are slightly different and larger, with the Chilcott 2 cream horizontal stripes top and bottom representing the Lavender rows! We have removed the verticals for this run just to add a change and make them easy to place in your room.

What a triumph - a 100% Bluefaced Leicester British Blanket that is just so soft and showcases the natural lustre of this beautiful wool. We have used a thicker ply just like our Double-Weight Herringbone Blankets to create this elegant, timeless classic. The wool is spun and dyed for us in the Yorkshire Dales and woven in a small family run mill in the Yorkshire Dales.
This blanket celebrates the very best of British design and craftsmanship. We've also added a bag of fresh Chilcott lavender to ensure that your blanket stays beautifully fragranced for years to come. The lavender is grown on our farm in the Brecon Beacons and fastened to the blanket by a stylish button made from Welsh oak, hand-turned exclusively for Chilcott by a local wood sculptor who works nearby in her studio situated on the banks of the River Usk. When your Lavender Bag finally loses its scent, simply post it back to us with a return address and we will replenish it free of charge.
