INTRODUCING OUR FOUNDER, AMELIA FAWCETT!
With a lifetime commitment to the environment, her vision in 2011 was to create a sustainable business on her farm, high up in the Brecon Beacons, and to utilise her land in a sustainable way. The big question was what to do on a Welsh hillside, and she settled on lavender. With more than 30 years in business, Amelia knew that the best companies were led by strong, diverse teams. She quickly assembled a group of talented individuals with distinct expertise--Charlotte Gamman, Sarah Frost and Susie Suter.
In 2012 Chilcott was born and in 2013 came alive with our first rows of lavender. Maybe not the first plant that springs to mind on a rugged Welsh hillside, however, tucked away at the end of a gorgeous valley it has flourished.

INTRODUCING SARAH FROST, OUR DESIGNER AND FINISHER!
Sarah's natural talent means she's an essential asset to the team, bringing a wealth of experience and knowledge. Every colour and material you see at Chilcott will have been chosen by Sarah and the team, as she brings her designs to life. From a family who has worked in the wool industry for generations Sarah, Chilcott’s talented designer and finisher create beautiful blankets. Calling on her wealth of experience and design instinct, Sarah not only chooses the unique Chilcott colours and materials that will bring her designs to life, she also uses her skills with a needle to create the special pockets of lavender that are sent out with each blanket as Chilcott’s unique signature.

Inspired by the farm and landscape, we design for you, your home and your dog. Exquisite attention to detail creates timeless, elegant pieces. These are complemented by our range of natural botanical fragrances that are exclusive to us. This is the very best of British design with you at its heart.
Wool – a beautiful, natural product. Using Sarah’s knowledge gained from a family rooted in the wool business, combined with her creativity and skills, we explored British wool with its spinning, dyeing and weaving. This adventure has taken us from Welsh weavers to the Outer Hebrides to explore the beauty of Harris Tweed®.
CRAFTSMANSHIP
At Chilcott, we have found the very best of British craftsmen. From fleece to finish, from plant propagation to distillation, we sought out uniquely talented people to bring our products to life. This search has taken us from the Outer Hebrides to Cornwall. We are very proud to support these talented craftsmen who truly embody our fundamental beliefs.
SUSTAINABILITY
Sustainability is at the heart of Chilcott, from the way we grow our botanicals to the wool that we use. Chilcott is a truly British business. We believe we should tread lightly in the world and appreciate what we have around us.
15% from the sale of the products in our Oceans Range goes to support Common Seas' work, an amazing organisation that's charting a course to healthy oceans. Their mission is to reduce the amount of plastic entering our rivers and seas.
Our lavender used to create a whole range of natural fragrances, carefully blended and beautifully presented to elegantly complement any home. The best room diffusers use our bespoke blend of fine natural essential oils that will gently fill the room with a natural perfume, with our lavender diffuser being a firm favourite.
